Paul Mullin Joins Rotherham United

Rotherham United has completed a significant transfer in the form of former Bradford City striker Paul Mullin. The experienced forward, who was on loan with Bradford City during the second half of last season, will now don the Millers' shirt for two years.

Background and Career Highlights

Mullin, 31, had a memorable stint at Wrexham before moving to Cambridge United in 2021. His tenure there was marked by prolific goal-scoring; he netted an impressive 110 goals in 172 games across all competitions over five years. Despite being a key player for the Red Dragons, his form dipped slightly during the latter part of last season, as he failed to find the back of the net in nine appearances.

Prior to his time at Bradford City, Mullin had already tasted promotion from the fourth tier with Tranmere Rovers and was also on loan at Wigan Athletic earlier in the 2025-26 season. During his spell there, he managed five goals in 26 matches across all competitions.

Rotherham United's recruitment drive continues as they look to strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign. With Mullin's addition, the club now boasts six new signings this summer, including Aaron Nemane, Ossama Ashley, Jamie Jellis, Fabio Tavares, and Jili Buyabu.

Millers' chief Alex Bruce expressed optimism about completing another signing by the weekend, indicating that Rotherham United is still playing catch-up in their summer recruitment efforts following a difficult relegation season last term.
